We had a few first time cleans this week in Rayleigh and Thundersly. What makes a first time clean special other than the fact that we have another happy customer?
A first time clean takes a lot longer than a standard maintenance, as we remove the months or years of built up dirt. There are a few steps.
1 Inspect all windows for any stubborn stains or damage & apply eco-safe detergent to the stains.
2 Wash all windows paying extra attention to the frames but also washing the glass making a special effort to remove stubborn dirt and oxidisation from the frames.
3 Wash all the windows again but this time only cleaning the glass. This saves any contaminated water dripping back onto the glass from the frames.
4 Inspect all the windows to make sure that they are drying ok checking the glass for any signs of spotting.
The extra time taken on the initial clean means that the windows should remain cleaner in the future because dirty water won’t be running off from the frames onto the glass.
